Who this is for. AR and cash-application staff who look up customer, invoice, and payment records in SmartCustomer. For AR Remittances, only the SuperAdmin role can open the tabs in this article.
Availability. Which tabs appear depends on your instance, your organization's settings, and your role. Table 1 gives each condition.
Overview
Each type of record in SmartCustomer has its own tab. Examples are Customers, Invoices, and Payments.
These records are a copy that Auditoria synchronizes from Workday. For how often the copy refreshes, see The SmartCustomer Console.
Use the record tabs to look up the customer and invoice details behind a remittance. The Customers tab is also where you enrol customers in AR Remittances.
Dashboard, Documents, and AR Mapping sit on the same tab bar. Each of them has its own section in this guide. See Document Intelligence and Top Customers, AR Remittances Activity Summary, Documents Overview and Workflow, and AR Mapping.
Before you start
Your role must give access to SmartCustomer, as SuperAdmin does.
If your organization runs more than one SmartCustomer instance, know which one you want. An instance is one configuration of the SmartCustomer SmartFlow Skill, with its own ERP connection and mailbox. The ERP: picker in the console header lists each instance by the name of its ERP connection.
Open a record tab
In the left navigation rail, point to SmartCustomer. A menu opens with SmartCustomer and Settings.
Select SmartCustomer. The console opens on its Dashboard tab.
If you work with more than one instance, select the instance in the ERP: picker. The Mailbox: picker then shows the mailbox of that instance, and the tabs show its records.
Select the tab you want in the tab bar, for example Customers.
The tab opens on its list of records.

To open the mailbox instead, select the Mailbox icon after the last tab. The icon is an envelope. See Mailbox.
Record tabs
Each record tab has its own article in this section:
Internal Documents and the Mailbox have their own articles too.
For what each tab holds, see The SmartCustomer Console.
A Portals tab or a System Sender Management icon can also appear. They do not depend on AR Remittances, and this guide does not cover them.
Selecting a record's identifier in a list opens its details page. For example, select an invoice number on the Invoices tab. Every details page has a breadcrumb with a back arrow, and a Timezone toggle with Local and UTC. Each article in this section describes its own details page.
Each list pages at its foot. Rows per page sets how many rows show, and arrows move between pages.
When a tab is missing
A missing tab has a condition that your instance, organization, or role does not meet. Table 1 gives each condition and what to do.
Table 1. Missing tabs
Missing |
Condition |
What to do |
|---|---|---|
Documents |
AR Remittances is turned on for the instance, and you have the SuperAdmin role. |
Check which instance the ERP: picker shows. Then ask your SmartCustomer admin to check the instance and your role. For the role, see Roles and Access. |
Credit Memos |
The instance connects to Workday. |
Check which instance the ERP: picker shows. |
AR Mapping |
You have the SuperAdmin role, and AR Mapping is enabled for your organization. |
Ask a SuperAdmin to create or change the mapping for you. |
Tasks |
The instance also runs AR Collections or AR Helpdesk. |
Nothing. An instance that runs only AR Remittances has no Tasks tab. |
Mailbox icon |
The mailbox view is turned on for your organization, and the instance has a connected mailbox. |
Ask Auditoria support. |
The data on every tab |
Your organization does not use mailbox access control, or you have access to the instance's mailbox. Otherwise each tab shows No Data To Display. The SuperAdmin role is not affected. |
Ask your SmartCustomer admin to check your access to the instance's mailbox. |
The Internal Documents tab appears for every organization. If it is missing, contact Auditoria support. See Contacting Support.
