Who this is for. AR managers and cash-application staff who monitor how remittances are written and dismissed. Only the SuperAdmin role can use AR Remittances. See Roles and Access.
Availability. The sections report on AR Remittances. AR Remittances must be enabled for your organization and turned on for the instance selected in the ERP: picker. You can turn on AR Remittances only on an instance whose system of record (SoR) is Workday.
Overview
Document Intelligence and Top Customers are the first two sections of the SmartCustomer Dashboard. They sit above the AR Remittances Activity Summary.
Document Intelligence reports on the documents that were written to Workday and the documents that were dismissed. It also lists the fields that users edit most. Top Customers lists the customers with the most documents.
The sections sit on the Dashboard tab, the first tab of the SmartCustomer console. The SmartCustomer Console describes the navigation rail, the pickers, and the tabs. For the section below them, see AR Remittances Activity Summary.
Section controls
The title bar of each section shows two period controls, 1 Day and Current Month to Date. The period you select applies to the cards of that section.
Each card in Document Intelligence is a small table. Its value column is headed with the month. A line after the card title gives the date and time of the last update. The line starts with Last updated at: and sits in parentheses.
Documents Written to SOR card
The Documents Written to SOR card counts the documents written to Workday in the period. It also rates how accurately the agent identified and extracted them. The following table lists its rows in the order they appear.
Table 1. Rows of the Documents Written to SOR card
| Row | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Documents Written to SOR | The number of documents written to Workday. |
| Documents Written Autonomously | The number of documents the agent wrote with no review. |
| Documents Written with No Edits | The number of documents written with no edit to their values. |
| Documents Classified as Payment | The number of documents classified as Remittance. The card calls them Payment. |
| Number of Zero Payment Records | The number of zero payment records. The row appears when the instance has Zero Payment Records selected. |
| % Correct in Identifying Payments | A percentage. The card explains it as (Count of Correctly Identified Payments Written to SOR/Total Count of Payments Written to SOR). |
| Overall Accuracy (%) | A percentage. The card shows no formula for it, or for the three accuracy rows after it. |
| Standard Field Accuracy (%) | An accuracy percentage for the standard fields. |
| Header Accuracy (%) | An accuracy percentage for the header fields. |
| Line Accuracy (%) | An accuracy percentage for the line items. |
For the standard fields, the header fields and the line items, see Document Information. For zero payment records, see Zero payment records in Write to SoR.
Documents Dismissed card
The Documents Dismissed card counts the documents taken out of processing in the period. Its rows split them by who dismissed them and how the agent had classified them. The following table lists the rows in the order they appear.
Table 2. Rows of the Documents Dismissed card
| Row | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Count of Dismissed Documents | The number of dismissed documents. |
| Duplicates Identified by Auditoria and Automatically Dismissed | The card does not say which duplicates it counts. A duplicate found when an email arrives creates no document, as How AR Remittances Processes a Remittance explains. |
| Documents Classified as Other by Auditoria and Dismissed by User | The number of documents the agent classified as Others that a user dismissed. |
| Documents Classified as Payment by Auditoria and Changed to Other by User | The number of documents the agent classified as payments that a user changed to Others. |
| Documents Classified as Payment by Auditoria and Dismissed by User | The number of documents the agent classified as payments that a user dismissed. |
On the document page, Not a Payment changes a remittance to Others, and Dismiss dismisses a document. Dismissed documents move to Dismissed Documents, which lists the reason and who dismissed each one. See Dismissed Documents Tab.
Top 10 Fields with the Most Edits card
The Top 10 Fields with the Most Edits card lists the fields that users edited most often in the period. When the card has nothing to list, it shows No Data To Display.
Users edit a document's values with Edit on the document page. See Review and Write a Remittance.
Top Customers cards
The Top Customers section has two cards: Top 10 Customers with Documents in Active Data and Top 10 Customers by Volume. Each one lists up to ten customers.
The Top 10 Customers with Documents in Active Data card lists the customers whose documents wait in Active Data. The following table lists its columns.
Table 3. Columns of the Top 10 Customers with Documents in Active Data card
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Customer | The customer's name. Documents with no matched customer show under Unknown Customer. |
| Current Remittances | The number of the customer's documents in Active Data. |
| Currency | The currency of those documents. |
| Sum of Total Amount | The sum of their Total Amount values, in that currency. |
A customer with documents in more than one currency has one row for each currency. To work through these documents, see Active Data Tab.
