Credit Memos

Who this is for. AR and cash-application staff who check a customer's credits in SmartCustomer. For AR Remittances, only the SuperAdmin role has access to this tab.

Availability. The Credit Memos tab appears when the SmartCustomer instance connects to Workday. AR Remittances runs only on Workday, so the tab appears wherever AR Remittances runs.

Overview

The Credit Memos tab lists the credit memos for your customers, with the amounts applied and unapplied. Each credit memo ID opens that credit memo's details page. In Workday, a credit memo is an invoice adjustment. The tab lists your customers' invoice adjustments from Workday, and the Invoices tab leaves them out.

AR Remittances does not create credit memos. It classifies each document it creates as Remittance or Others, and it writes remittances to Workday as payments. On this tab, you can look up a customer's credits while you review that customer's remittances.

Toolbar

The toolbar sits at the right of the title. Table 1 lists its controls from left to right. The toolbar has no Tag icon, and the rows have no checkboxes.
