Who this is for. Cash application staff who work on remittances in the console. For AR Remittances, only the SuperAdmin role can open the tabs described here, as Roles and Access explains.
Availability. Organizations that run SmartCustomer. The Documents tab also needs AR Remittances enabled for your organization and turned on for the selected instance.
Overview
SmartCustomer is the console where AR Remittances work happens. It holds your remittance documents, the records synchronized from Workday, the mailbox, and the dashboard. Auditoria refreshes the copy of your Workday records every 4 hours. Everything in this guide except configuration happens here.
You reach it from the SmartCustomer icon in the left navigation rail. The page title reads SmartCustomer.

Two pickers in the console header choose what you see.

The icons at the right of the console header are also controls for other SmartCustomer functions. Their tooltips include Create Follow-Up Tasks and Start Dunning. This guide does not cover them.
The Dashboard can also carry sections for AR Helpdesk and AR Collections.
The Mailbox icon
The Mailbox opens from an envelope icon after the last tab. Its tooltip reads Mailbox.
For AR Remittances, the Mailbox shows each remittance email with its label, such as HereIsNewRemittance. An open email lists its attachments under Attachment, and the documents they created under Document Created. See Mailbox.
Tab set by instance and role
Two people in the same organization can see different tabs. Three things decide which tabs you see.
The instance you select decides the function tabs. Documents appears for an instance that runs AR Remittances, and Tasks for one that runs AR Helpdesk or AR Collections.
Your role decides what you can open. AR Mapping appears for the SuperAdmin role when AR Mapping is enabled for your organization. Only the SuperAdmin role gets the Documents tab.
Your organization's settings decide some tabs and icons, such as the Mailbox icon.
