Navigating to Dashboard

You can access the Dashboard from anywhere in the application to monitor accounts payable activity, review automation performance, and manage workflow tasks.

To open Dashboard at any time:

  1. In the left sidebar, select SmartVendor.
  2. In the horizontal navigation bar, click Dashboard.

The Dashboard opens and displays real-time metrics and activity summaries.

Dashboard Overview

When you open the dashboard, it loads on the AP Helpdesk SmartBot Activity Summary. From there, each panel includes a date‑range selector (for example, 1 Day, 7 Days, 30 Days, 365 Days), and most panels provide an export icon and drill‑down links where applicable. Only two sections support the expand/collapse feature: AP Helpdesk SmartBot Activity Summary and Prioritized Tasks. 

For reference, the dashboard contains these primary sections :

Note: SmartVendor includes sections for both AP Invoices and AP Helpdesk (HD). This guide focuses only on the AP Helpdesk sections. For invoice‑specific metrics and processing views, refer to the AP Invoices Dashboard documentation.


Common Actions

  • Hover tooltips: Hover any chart element to see counts and percentages for the current date range/filters.
  • Drill‑downs: Click most bars/slices to open a detail dialog with row‑level data. Drill‑down tables export to CSV only.
  • Exports: Panels/charts support export to PDF, PNG, SVG, CSV, and XLSX (where available). Exports respect the selected date range. Limit up to 10,000 rows per export.
  • Legend toggles: Click legend items to hide or show series; this changes only what you see on screen, not totals or filters.
  • Pagination: If the list exceeds one page, use the pagination controls at the bottom of the dialog to navigate. Adjust the number of rows shown per page using the “Rows per page” selector.

Note: All metric data is available across all RBAC roles (with access to SmartVendor) except for select data in Tasks & Utilization, which defaults to the metrics scope for the individual user. Team Managers can optionally filter by and view data for their respective Team or individual Team members. Super Admins and AP Helpdesk Managers can optionally filter by and view data for any Team and any AP Helpdesk user.
