Who this is for. Super Admins who set up AI Agent reply templates for AP Helpdesk, and analysts who want to know which languages AP Helpdesk replies in.
AP Helpdesk replies to vendors in the language they wrote in. This article covers the AP Helpdesk SmartFlow. If your tenant runs AP Helpdesk (Next Generation), see Languages and Translation in the Mailbox instead.
Replies to email that is not in English
When an email is not in English, the AI Agent drafts its reply in the language of the email. By default it uses the intent's reply template, which is in English, and translates the draft into the vendor's language. You do not need to set anything up for this.
Write reply templates in other languages (Language Match)
Use Language Match when you want to control the exact wording of replies in a particular language, rather than rely on translation. A Super Admin sets it up in the SmartVendor configuration:
- On the Settings step, make sure Turn on AP Helpdesk is selected, then select Continue until you reach the AI Agent Replies step.
- Select the vendor category tab, for example Standard Vendor, and choose the intent from Intent.
- Select the Language Match checkbox, choose the language from the list beside it, and write the template.
- On the Save and Run step, select Run to save the configuration.
The language list shows how many templates already exist in each language, for example English (132).
When the AI Agent drafts a reply, it uses the template written in the email's language if one exists for that intent. Otherwise it uses the English template and translates the draft.
Language Match applies to every intent. The checkbox sits beside the intent selector, but turning it on or off changes it for all intents. The templates themselves are written per intent and per language.
Language Match is not on for every tenant. If you do not see the Language Match checkbox on the AI Agent Replies step, ask Auditoria Support to enable it.
Results
Vendors who write in a supported language receive replies in that language, from your own template where you wrote one, or translated from the English template where you did not.
Supported languages
You can write reply templates in the 48 languages in Table 1. Codes follow ISO 639-1. Chinese is a single entry and is not split into Simplified and Traditional. English is the default language for reply templates.
