Email Archiving in Collaborative Mode

Who this is for. Super Admins configuring an agent on the legacy model. No other role has access to the setup wizard. Applies only to agents on Collaborative Mode. See the Roles and Access.

Email Archiving controls whether email and email threads can be archived and hidden from the Inbox view. It is one of the settings that does not change between autonomy models.

Nothing differs in Collaborative Mode

Email Archiving appears on the AP Helpdesk rail under both Collaborative Mode and Governed Autonomy. The position differs because Collaborative Mode carries Intents & Outcomes, Agent Replies and Task Suppression where Governed Autonomy carries Email Categories, Processing Rules and Task SLA. The section itself is the same: the same auto-archive interval, the same unread-archive option, and the same rule that email with NEW or OPEN tasks cannot be archived.

For the settings themselves, see AP Helpdesk Email Archiving.

Collaborative Mode is being deprecated. New setups should use Governed Autonomy.
