Introduction
The Save and Run step is the final checkpoint before activating your AP Helpdesk automation in SmartFlow Skills Management. Here, you review your configuration, address any warnings, and launch SmartVendor for AP Helpdesk workflows.
Screen Overview
At the top, a progress bar highlights your current step (“Save and Run”) in the configuration workflow.
The main area summarizes your configuration and displays any critical warnings related to module changes or potential data loss.
Navigation options include Previous, Run, and Cancel.

How to Complete the Save and Run Step
Review the configuration summary to ensure all sections (Connection, Settings, Intents & Outcomes, SmartBot Replies) are complete and accurate.
Check for warning messages—especially if you have disabled AP Invoices during this configuration.
Click Run to save your configuration and start AP Helpdesk automation.
To return to previous steps, click Previous.
To cancel without saving, click Cancel.
Warning: Disabling AP Invoices
If you have turned off AP Invoices in the Settings step, you will see a red warning message on the Save and Run screen:
"On RUN, AP Invoices will be disabled and all documents in active data and written to SoR data will be lost."
Figure 2. Warning when disabling AP Invoices
What this means:
All AP Invoice documents, processing histories, and System of Record (SoR) data associated with this workflow will be permanently deleted when you click Run. This data cannot be recovered.
What to do:
Review the warning message carefully.
If you wish to preserve your AP Invoice data, click Previous to re-enable AP Invoices, or Cancel to exit without saving changes.
Only click Run if you are certain you want to permanently erase all AP Invoice data for this workflow.
After Clicking Run
You are redirected to the SmartVendor dashboard to monitor, edit, or manage your running AP Helpdesk automation.
The automation status will display as "Running" for your instance.
Any AP Invoice data removed due to disabling the module is permanently lost and cannot be recovered.
Note:
The Run button may remain disabled if required steps are incomplete; resolve all warnings or red highlights before proceeding.
Always review or back up data before disabling any modules.
