When using the W-9 Data Refresh upload feature with Sage Intacct, first verify that the auto-numbering of document IDs for attachments is enabled. The following steps are for a user with Admin privileges.
- Log in to Sage Intacct as an Admin user.
- Go to Company > Setup > Configuration - Company.
- Scroll down to the Attachment sequence type. If there is a value listed for Attachment sequence type, you already have the autonumbering of document IDs enabled.
If it is empty, we recommend that you enable autonumbering, as follows: - Go to Company > Setup > Settings - Document Numbering.
- Find Attachment in the list and click Edit.
- In the Document Sequence Information page, select the Attachment Sequence type.
If the Attachment Sequence type is empty, or if you need to define a new sequence type, complete the following steps: - Go to Company > Setup > Configuration - Company.
- Click Edit (top right button).
- Scroll down to the Attachment sequence type field.
- Select the Attachment sequence type from the pulldown menu.
