What to confirm first
Two checks are worth making before you raise a case, because both change what you see:
Which tenant you are in, shown at the top right. Settings belong to a single tenant, so a setting that appears missing is often a setting on another tenant.
Which role you are acting as. A control your role cannot use is not shown at all rather than disabled. Role is only one reason a control can be missing. A tab missing for everyone on the tenant is more often a tenant question than a role one. See Roles and Access.
What to include
A case can usually be investigated without a follow-up question when it carries:
The tenant name and the role you were acting as.
The mailbox and the message, task, or record involved.
What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
The time the problem occurred, with the time zone.
