The Usage page reports SmartResearch consumption for the tenant, measured in Action Units, alongside how many questions were asked, how many people asked them, and how that compares with the previous period.
It answers three practical questions: whether the tenant is being used at all after rollout, whether consumption is trending towards a commercial limit, and which people or teams are driving it. Adoption problems show up here weeks before they surface in a review.

Open the Usage page
In the navigation rail, select SmartResearch.
Select Usage.
Set the period
Select 1d, 7d, 30d or 90d, or select the date range to choose your own. The range is shown in full, for example Jul 23, 2026 – Aug 21, 2026.
To narrow the page to one person, use All Users.
Comparisons are always against the immediately preceding period of the same length, so a 30-day view compares with the 30 days before it. Changing the period changes the comparison base as well as the window. A jump in a percentage can reflect a quieter previous period rather than a busier current one.
Headline measures
Four figures run across the top. Three carry a percentage change against the previous period.

Select Export CSV.
The export takes the period and user filter currently set, so filter first if you want one team rather than the tenant.
