Who this is for. Super Admins, who can add, change and remove these settings. AP Helpdesk Managers, Specialists and Analysts cannot open AP Intelligence. Requires AP Intelligence to be enabled for your tenant. See the Roles and Access.
Much of what lands in an AP mailbox is not from a person. Bounce notices, portal notifications, statement runs and mailer daemons arrive alongside real vendor correspondence, and the agent should answer none of them.
This list names the automated sources to expect. Mail from an address, domain or subdomain on it is classified as sender type SYSTEM, which keeps it out of the reply path and out of your analysts’ queues, unless system sender tasks are switched on for the agent.
Both errors have consequences. A source that is not listed is treated as vendor mail and can receive a reply. A domain listed too broadly suppresses replies to genuine vendor mail from that domain.

This feature has two further surfaces. The same settings are reached from the agent wizard under Contact Management, and from the icon at the right-hand end of the SmartVendor tab row, which appears where the agent runs AP Helpdesk. See System Senders.
What the list covers

The configuration is versioned
The panel names the version in force, for example Current Version (08-17-26 10:01AM), and records provenance beneath the list: Last Updated with a timestamp, and Updated By with the person who made the change. A Configured System Senders count sits alongside.

CSV workflow
Download CSV Template gives you a correctly shaped file to fill in. Use it rather than building the file by hand, because an upload replaces the entire configured list.
The panel sets out three steps: Download, to get the current configuration or an empty template for first-time setup; Edit, to add new entries in new rows, or delete existing rows to remove entries; Upload, to save your CSV and upload to replace the entire configuration.
An upload is not a merge. The panel carries this warning, and it matters: Each upload replaces the complete configuration – make sure your CSV contains all desired entries. A CSV containing only your additions removes everything else.
Always Download first and edit that file, rather than composing one from scratch. A CSV Configuration Format reference is provided in the panel.
The CSV controls are role-gated and do not appear for every role. Where the version selector, Download System Sender List, Upload System Sender List, the CSV Bulk Management Workflow panel and the CSV Configuration Format reference are absent, you can still add senders by hand and work the Unknown Sender Email Addresses table; in place of the format reference they see only the auto-detection rules, headed “Important: System Sender values are automatically trimmed of whitespace and type is auto-detected.”

The file needs one column, headed SystemSenderValue, and one value per row. The type of each value is worked out from its shape rather than declared: a value containing an at sign is an address, a value beginning *. is a subdomain, and anything else is a domain. Whitespace is trimmed for you.
Above the panel, a line records how many senders are configured, when the list was last updated and by whom.
