AR Mapping Page

Who this is for. SmartCustomer users with the SuperAdmin role.

Availability. The AR Mapping tab appears in SmartCustomer when AR Mapping is enabled for your organization.

Overview

The AR Mapping page lists the remittance mappings in your organization. It opens from the AR Mapping tab in SmartCustomer. To open it from anywhere in Auditoria, point to SmartCustomer in the left sidebar and select SmartCustomer. SmartCustomer opens on its Dashboard tab. Then select AR Mapping.

The heading reads Remittance mapping, with a badge that counts all your mappings. The line under it reads Per-customer mappings that let the cash-application agent read varied remittance file layouts.

From this page, you create and open mappings. You can also download, import, and delete them. Search, filters, and saved filters help you find a mapping in a long list.

Mapping list

Each row is one mapping. The list opens sorted by Last updated, newest first.

Table 1. List columns

Column Shows
Mapping name The name of the mapping. Select it to open the mapping in the editor.
Customer name The customer whose remittance files the mapping reads.
Status Active or Draft.
Last updated The date and time the mapping was last updated.
Actions Edit, Download mapping (icon), and Delete mapping (icon). See Actions column on this page.

The first four columns sort. Each selection of a column heading moves through ascending order, descending order, and the default order. Rows per page sits below the list. It offers 10, 25, or 50 rows. The footer also shows how many rows match. When the rows fill more than one page, the list shows the page number, for example Page 1 of 2. The page controls « ‹ › » appear with it.

If your organization has no mappings yet, the page shows No customer mappings yet, with Create mapping and Import.

Statuses

A mapping has one of two statuses.

Table 2. Mapping statuses

Status Meaning
Active Live. Spreadsheet remittances (XLSX, XLS, or CSV) from the customer are read with this mapping automatically.
Draft Saved but not live. Remittances are not read with it.

Search and filters

The search box matches the mapping name, the customer name, and the status. For example, typing active lists the live mappings. The box shows Search mappings... until you type.

The Customer and Status filters each offer four operators. The Customer filter also lists the customers that have mappings. When more than six customers have mappings, the panel adds a search box. In each filter panel, Clear is unavailable until you select a value.

Table 3. Filter operators

Operator Shows
= (equals) Mappings with any of the values you select
≠ (not equals) Mappings with none of the values you select
is empty Mappings with no value in that field
is not empty Mappings with any value in that field

Filter the list

  1. Above the list, select Customer or Status. The filter's panel opens.
  2. In the operator list, choose an operator, for example = (equals).
  3. Select the check box of each value you want, for example Draft. The operators is empty and is not empty take no values, so the panel hides the value list.
  4. Close the panel, for example by pressing Esc.

The list then shows only the matching mappings. The filter appears as a chip, such as Status = Draft, with a remove icon. Save filter and Clear all appear beside the chips. To remove one filter, select the remove icon on its chip. To remove every filter, select Clear all. When nothing matches, the list shows No mappings match and Try clearing the search or filters.

  3. Type a name, for example Northwind Traders mappings. Save is unavailable until you type a name.
  4. Select Save. To close without saving, select Cancel.

My filters then shows how many filters you have saved. With one saved filter, its panel reads My filters (1). Saved filters are not tied to one browser, so they also appear when you sign in elsewhere.

Reapply a saved filter

  1. Select My filters.
  2. Select the name of the saved filter, for example Northwind Traders mappings.

The saved filters are applied again, and the list shows the matching mappings.
