Overview
Use the toolbar at the top of the Payments list in AR Collections to control how data is searched, filtered, displayed, exported, and how monetary values are shown.
The toolbar includes:
Currency Toggle (Base vs Foreign)
Search Payments
Filter Payment Records
Customize Table Columns
Export Payments

1. Currency Toggle (Base vs Foreign)
Use the Currency toggle to control how monetary values are displayed.
How to use the currency toggle:
On the Payments toolbar, find the Currency control with Base and Foreign buttons.
Click Base to show monetary fields in your organization’s base (functional) currency.
Click Foreign to show values in each payment’s original transaction currency.
The selection applies to all monetary fields in the list, such as Payment Amount, Applied Amount, and Unapplied Amount.

2. Search Payments
Use Search to quickly locate specific payments.
How to search:
Go to the Payments page in AR Collections.
In the toolbar, click in the Search field.
Type a value such as:
Payment Number / Remittance ID
Customer Name
Reference Number (for example, check number, bank reference)
The list updates to show only payments that match your search term.
Clear the search text to return to the full payments list (subject to active filters).

3. Filter Payment Records
Use Filters to display only payments that meet specific criteria (for example, unapplied payments over a threshold, payments for a specific customer, or payments in a date range).
How to filter payments:
On the Payments page, click the Filter (funnel) icon on the toolbar.
In the filter panel, choose a Column (for example, Payment Number, Customer Name, Entity, Payment Status, Payment Amount, Applied Amount, Unapplied Amount, Payment Date, Tags).
Select an Operator (such as
contains,equals,greater than,less than or equal,in list).Enter the Value to filter by.
(Optional) Add additional filter rows to build combined conditions.
Apply the filters to update the payments list.
To reset the view, remove individual filter rows or use Clear Filters (if available).

4. Customize Table Columns
Use Edit Columns to choose which fields appear in the Payments table and in what order.
How to customize columns:
On the Payments page, click the Edit Columns (column) icon on the toolbar.
In the Edit Columns panel:
Select checkboxes for the columns you want to show.
Clear checkboxes for the columns you want to hide.
Apply your changes to refresh the Payments table layout.
Use Restore Default (if available) to return to the standard column configuration.

5. Export Payments
Use Export to download payment‑level data for offline analysis, sharing, or reconciliation.
How to export payments:
On the Payments page, apply any needed filters and search criteria.
Click the Export (download) icon on the toolbar.
Confirm the export format (typically CSV).
Save the exported file from your browser.
The export normally includes the payments visible in your current (filtered) view and respects your current column configuration.
