Table 1. Disputes Fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Invoice Number | The identifier of the invoice associated with the dispute. Click the Invoice Number to open the Invoice Details page for that invoice. |
| Customer Name | The name of the customer associated with the disputed invoice. Click the Customer Name to open the Customer Details page. |
| Entity | The legal entity, company, or business unit under which the disputed invoice is recorded. This helps distinguish invoices for customers that exist across multiple entities. |
| Invoice Status | The current status of the invoice associated with the dispute (for example, Open). This indicates whether the invoice is still outstanding or has been settled. |
| Age (Days) | The number of days since the Invoice Date. This shows how long the invoice (and associated dispute) has been outstanding. Higher values indicate older items. |
| Invoice Amount | The total amount of the invoice in the selected currency (for example, when viewing in Base or Foreign currency). |
| Amount Remaining | The unpaid balance of the invoice after all payments, credit memos, and adjustments have been applied. This is the amount that is still outstanding on the invoice. |
| Disputed Amount | The portion of the invoice amount that is currently marked as disputed. This value is used to track how much of the open amount is under review. |
| Dispute Date | The date when the dispute was recorded in SmartCustomer or synced from your ERP. This is typically used as a reference point for tracking and reporting on dispute activity. |
| Invoice Date | The date the invoice was issued. This is used for aging calculations and helps you understand when the underlying invoice was created. |
Tip: Use Age (Days) together with Invoice Amount, Amount Remaining, and Disputed Amount to prioritize which disputes require immediate attention or escalation.
Note: The fields available and their labels in the Disputes list may vary depending on your organization’s configuration and ERP integration.
