The Message Metadata panel provides technical and contextual information about each email and task processed in AP Helpdesk. This information is read-only and is used for verification, troubleshooting, and audit purposes.
How to Access
In the Task Details view, click View Metadata to open the Message Metadata panel.
Message Metadata Fields
Field Name | Description |

Message ID | Unique identifier for the email message within the AP Helpdesk system. |
Direction | Indicates whether the message is inbound (received) or outbound (sent). |
Method | The method or recipient type for the message (e.g., To, CC, BCC). |
Sender Type | Classification of the sender (e.g., Internal, Vendor, External). |
Processing State | Current processing status of the message (e.g., New, Open, Done, Error). |
Task Suppressed | Indicates whether task creation was suppressed for this message (Yes/No). |
Detected Intents | The business intent(s) detected for the message (e.g., Request For Payment Status). |
Attachments | Lists attached files, including file name, format, and classification. |
Record Match | Details of how the sender or message was matched to a record, including Vendor ID, Vendor Name, and Match Type (e.g., Contact). |
