Office 365 Settings

Overview

Use the Mailbox Settings form with the Office 365 provider selected to connect Auditoria to a Microsoft 365 mailbox. Office 365 is available under the Mailbox connection type on the System Settings page.

Before You Begin

  • Identify the Office 365 mailbox that SmartFlow Skills will read from.
  • (Optional) Prepare one or more alias email addresses that will forward inbound mail to the connected mailbox.
  • (Optional) If you are connecting a Microsoft 365 shared mailbox, grant the connected mailbox access to the shared mailbox in Microsoft 365 before starting this procedure.

Configure Office 365 Mailbox Settings

  1. On the Add New Connection view, click the Mailbox icon, then click Office 365. The Mailbox Settings form opens.
  2. In Enter email for mailbox connection, enter the Office 365 address and click Verify. 
  3. (Optional) In Alias Email for inbound communication in SmartFlow Skills, enter an alias email. Click Add Alias Email to add more aliases.
  4. (Optional) Turn on Enforce Mailbox Access Control to restrict access to this mailbox. For details, see the Mailbox Settings Overview article.
  5. Under Email Settings, select whether emails are marked READ or left UNREAD after processing.
  6. (Optional) Select Use shared mailbox and enter the Shared mailbox address.
  7. Click Continue.
