1. New and Updated Features

SmartGL: Accrual Group owner access  [9937]

In the SmartGL flow, Accrual Group owners can view all Accrual Groups and accrual group entries, but they can only edit their own Accrual Group entries. Accrual Group owners cannot edit any Accrual Group entries from Accrual Groups they do now own. If an Accrual Group owner attempts to edit an entry from another Accrual Group, an error message will appear.

SmartGL: Accrual Group Assignment Report [9936]

In the SmartGL flow, you cannot edit the default Accrual Groups mid-close. But prior to close you can view the Accrual Groups and see which active vendors are assigned to the default Accrual Group so that they can be assigned before the reach out process starts. The Accrual Group Assignment Report is available by clicking the Export button in the SmartGL Advanced Accruals for Suppliers page. The report which has the following columns:

  • Supplier Name
  • Supplier ID
  • Accrual Group

SmartGL: Journal entry memo enhancements  [9665]

In the SmartGL flow, Journal Entry Memos are updated to include Auditoria in the header and line memo and the date of the memo is updated from Calendar Year to Fiscal Year to improve usability.

SmartGL: Foreign exchange conversions  [7377]

In the SmartGL flow, customers doing business in countries outside of the US automatically have the final accruals estimate translated to the reporting currency of the entity being accrued for. The currency the vendor is doing business in is called the PO Currency. The final accruals estimate is included in the vendor reach out email.

Invoice Accrual: Optional PO and PR estimates  [7373 + 8688]

During the Invoice Accrual SmartFlow, both PO and PR estimates can optionally be added to the internal reach out emails. Using this option, tables for the PO and PR estimates are placed at the bottom of the vendor reach out email.

SmartCollections: Customer and Invoice level notes write to ERP  [10329]

During the SmartCollections flow, customer and invoice level notes created in Auditoria by the user can be written to the ERP.  This feature is now available in Oracle NetSuite ERP.

SmartCollections: RBAC enhancements for Auditoria Roles  [9853]

Auditoria’s Role Based Access Control (RBAC) mechanism controls access to data objects across the Auditoria platform and now includes a hierarchical RBAC paradigm.

Subordinate roles, such as Collections Agent and Sales Rep, can be scoped to specific subsets of data that these roles can take actions on such as viewing, updating, and deletion.

Supervisor roles, such as Collections Manager and Sales Manager, have a supervisory relationship to the Subordinate roles. Supervisor roles can view and take actions on all of the Subordinate roles respective subsets of data.

See the diagrams below for more information.
